No one knows positivity quite like Eddie Tyquin. A lover of all things bright and colourful, both in her wardrobe and life in general, Eddie sees the world through rainbow-coloured glasses – but this hasn’t always been the case.
“As a teenager, I really struggled with self-acceptance,” says Eddie. “I so badly wished that someone could just teach me how to embrace who I was and give me the tools to navigate those tough high school years.”

There should be people like you on this planet (yes – you), there should be people like me on this planet (yes – me) and there should be people like that dude in the corner of the coffee shop lining up his pocket coins in order of date.
Getting to know a person is like staying with one kooky creature in a zoo and just being with them all day. You might be drawn to the tiger at first (because they are a tiger for crying out loud!) but then, after close examination, you come to understand the meerkat is cheeky, loyal and perceptive.
Our Environmental & Social Impact
It is our duty to care, educate and inspire all beings:
We acknowledge and pay respects to the traditional custodians of the lands and nations around Australia on which we run our workshops, schools and one-on-one life coaching. We acknowledge that this land always was and always will be, Aboriginal land. We would like to thank the Traditional Custodians for caring for this country for thousands of generations. We would like to pay our respects to Elders past, present and future. We recognise the mistakes and cruelty of the past has had ongoing trauma, loss of identity and ongoing pain for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples of this land.
We are consistently ensuring that students of all social, cultural, community and family backgrounds, and of all identities and abilities feel welcome in our workshops and programs. Looking for Ladybird is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
We aim to use as little of waste as possible. We are committed to ensuring the products, resources and clients that we use are ethical, sustainable and align with our social and environmental policies. At Looking for Ladybird we care about about the future of our world and want to model this philosophy to our clients and our users.
